Speaking of the promotional value of the blogosphere...
| On the heels of my last post in which I professed the potential value of the word of the blogger (big or small), I just got word that Chris Thilk over at Movie Marketing Madness was actually contacted by someone at Universal to provide him with information on how they are marketing their upcoming release Miami Vice. The willingness on the part of Universal to consult with Chris *hopefully* signifies a growing appreciation for the influence of bloggers in the promotion of movies (and music). Congratulations on the scoop, Chris, and kudos to Universal for blazing the trail for open communication with those who wish to promote their works. For more information, read Mack’s post at The Viral Garden and be sure to tune in to Chris’s column next week… Technorati Tags: music, movies,Universal, marketing, miami vice, blogger |
